New Quality Score to Secure Data Quality

September 2025 // As the first software provider, we have integrated an AI-powered quality check for qualitative research: the KERNWERT Quality Score. This makes data quality measurable and transparent, ensuring valid results and reliable research.
 
Qualitative research thrives on genuine voices and meaningful insights into people’s everyday lives. With the growing availability of generative AI, however, new challenges arise: participants may fake identities or generate automated responses.
 
The Quality Score combines various AI-driven checks and uses a traffic light system (green, yellow, red) to show at a glance whether a profile is normal, suspicious or critical. This way, potentially problematic data can be identified early and, if necessary, excluded from analysis and export.
 
Patterns detected include, among others, multiple participations, AI-generated contributions, duplicates, as well as unusual completion times and input behavior.
