In this regard, we would like to point out the current publication Empirical research in economics and social sciences ("Empirische Forschung in den Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaften klipp & klar") by Prof. Dr. Hariet Köstner. (Unfortunately only available in German)
The book is particularly interesting for beginners and career changers and provides extensive background knowledge. In the chapter on primary research, various quantitative and qualitative methods are discussed. As a representative of digital qualitative research, Market Research Online Communities (MROC) is discussed there - a section for which we were also able to contribute our experience and advise Prof. Köster.
