Mobility Challenge Düsseldorf launched
September 2022 // A recent study by the City of Düsseldorf explores the use of sustainable mobility options: 20 Düsseldorf residents give up their cars for four weeks and test mobility alternatives. During this time, they keep a digital diary and exchange opinions on various topics related to sustainable mobility. We are very pleased to be implementing and supporting this exciting project for the City of Düsseldorf. The Office for Traffic Management of the City of Düsseldorf writes about the Mobility Challenge: The response to the Challenge was very great: more than 85 people from the districts selected for the Challenge, Bilk, Unterbilk and Friedrichstadt, applied to take part, of which 20 were selected.
"I am very pleased that we were able to inspire so many Düsseldorfers to take part in this special challenge," explains Head of Mobility Jochen Kral. "According to the motto 'Rethinking Mobility', we are continuously working on the expansion of a diverse mobility offer for the City of Düsseldorf in order to enable an individually suitable mobility for everyone. In this way, many new opportunities to use shared mobility have emerged in recent years and months."
